If you’re hating on Princess Bubblegum for slicing Finn’s cheek, might I remind you that:

A) It was an accident. Loud and clear at 7:45, she states, “That was an accident.” Can she be any more redundant? Do you need an official declaration on file?

B) He attacked her, with no explanation as to why he needed the gem at all. He forces his way, first into her private quarters in the dead of night, and then into her personal space to reach for her crown. In the midst of self-defense, she cuts him by accident. Please refer back to point A.

Though Jake was responsible for the breaking and entering, the only person at fault in this situation is Finn. Don’t try to argue with me. Princess Bubblegum, after the events of Lady & Peebles, probably suffers from extreme PTSD and for another attack like that to occur by one of her close male friends is obviously beyond frightening, and rather disgusting.

Blaming Princess Bubblegum for the attack is as ridiculous as blaming a woman for being raped.

Stop.
