Everyone knows the leading ladies of Darkstalkers, but the guys of Darkstalkers deserve just as much attention. Sure, they may not have fanservice-yness going for them, but the concepts behind them are just as cool.
For example, Jon Talbain, as a werewolf, already gets some props for being an awesome interpretation of my favorite “classic” horror monster. Thing is, Capcom couldn’t just make him a NORMAL werewolf of London (which is a great song). They made him WEREWOLF. BRUCE. LEE. That alone makes him the best fighting game character ever. Whenever I play Darkstalkers Chronicle (which is one of only three games on my PSP I play regularly, along with Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X), Talbain is my main wolfman.
